1805 Sailor Print
A Royal Navy sailor wearing the kind of clothing worn around the time of the Battle of Trafalgar. Ratings did not have an official uniform until 1857 but often wore clothing known as “slops”. This was cheap, ready-made clothing often bought from the ship’s pusser who would keep a “slop chest”.
The print is now available in two sizes:
- Small 30cm x 25cm
- Large 40cm x 50cm
The print can be personalised with text of your choice, for example a dedication to the recipient of the print.
Small unframed prints will be mounted. Large unframed prints will be rolled. Framed prints are mounted and the frame is ready to hang.
Expedited Production
Our usual turnaround time is around 5 working days, plus 24 hours for delivery. For bespoke or personalised artwork this is from when you approval the proof that you will be emailed. If you need your picture more quickly, we offer a "Next Day Production & Dispatch" service. This means, for orders placed / proofs that are approved before 1500, your picture will be made and posted the working day. Postage is usually by 24 hour Royal Mail or Next Day DPD delivery.
