Trafalgar HMS Pickle Sailor Print

A Royal Navy sailor wearing the kind of clothing worn around the time of the Battle of Trafalgar. Ratings did not have an official uniform until 1857 but often wore clothing known as “slops”. This was cheap, ready-made clothing often bought from the ship’s pusser who would keep a “slop chest”. 

The print is now available in two sizes:

• Small open edition A4 (210mm x 297mm)
• Large open edition A3 (297mm x 420mm)

The pictures are printed onto Somerset Velvet fine art paper with archival quality inks. The prints are signed by Gillian and come with a certificate of authenticity.

The print is available unframed and unmounted, or mounted and framed in a handmade white, black or oak frame with real glass.
