814 NAS Flying Tigers Merlin Mk2 Print
814 NAS Flying Tigers Merlin Mk2 Print
Did you know that tigers can fly? 814 Naval Air Squadron is nicknamed the “Flying Tigers” because of the tiger that features on its squadron crest. The tiger represents the squadron’s membership of the NATO Tiger Association which was established in 1961 to promote solidarity between NATO air forces.
As part of a leaving gift I was asked to design a Merlin helicopter with a tiger overlay and here it is!
Prints are available in two sizes:
- Small (40cm x 20cm) open edition
- Large (60cm x 30cm) limited edition (100 copies)
The print can be personalised with text of your choice, for example a dedication to the recipient of the print.

All prints are signed. Limited edition prints are numbered.
