I am Gillian, the Military Artist! I specialise in meaningful and high quality artworks of military people, ships, aircraft and vehicles.
I am a former Royal Navy officer with a PhD in manufacturing engineering and a life long interest in art. My slightly unusual background means I am always happy to chat military equipment and finding ways to make it look attractive!
Unique Military Inspired Artwork
I pride myself on creating striking artwork whilst maintaining an attention to detail. If you would like a ship as it looked in 1982 then I will take the time to research the correct antennae and armaments. As a former researcher this is often the part of the process I enjoy the most!
The attention to details continues in the manufacture of the artwork. All my prints are professionally produced on archival fine art paper, ensuring long lasting quality. Each frame is crafted from FSC-certified wood, reflecting my commitment to sustainability. Each piece is made to order in the UK and we strive to dispatch orders within 5 days.

Our military art is made to order in the UK and usually despatched within 5 days. The pictures are printed on archival fine art paper and the frames made from FSC certified wood.
Bespoke Military Art
While I offer a wide range of ready-made prints, I also love working on bespoke commissions often based on personal military experiences. One of my most popular is the "career fleet", a personalised artwork that illustrates all the ships that someone has served on during their naval career. These commissions make for thoughtful gifts, retirement presents or personal keepsakes that commemorate years of service.
